Consider poly-viscous is 100% plastic - polyester and rayon. Natural fibres do breath better than man-made fibres. Hemp is one alternative to wool with quite remarkable properties. If the weight of wool concerns you then Stillwaters wool kilts are lighter than most wool kilts.
