Depends...
really depends on where you seats are. I just worked the TSO concert here in Mpls last weekend. There are a lot of flames and heat near the front 1/3 of the arena. The dancers and singers are hot too :-)
I would say about 1/3 of the audience was dressed up for the show, the rest in casual wear. Fantastic event, enjoy yourself.

I went to see TSO here in Greensboro last year, and I have more or less the same seat I did then. I'm going to be down on the floor, about 20 rows back from the stage. You're right regarding the heat. I remember it being rather toasty at times during the show last year. I'm not so worried about being cold inside as I am when I leave after the show. Looks like it's going to be ~60 tomorrow, so it shouldn't be all that bad. It's also not supposed to rain, which will help.
I looked at that shirt when I went home for lunch, and it's a really dark brown; almost black. It's such a different shade of brown that I may be able to get away with wearing the (relatively) light brown hose after all. I just need to try it out tonight when I have more time.

I first saw TSO back when they were still called Savatage, and I would say that a casual look is deffinately appropriate. Keep in mind that they are a metal band, after all- at least, the Savatage part! (On a side note, as a fan of these guys since Hall Of The Mountain King, I still haven't gotten used to seeing them in tuxedos!) Enjoy the show. I missed them this year. They never make it here before Thanksgiving! I went to see when they were coming and found that they had already been and gone. That's the second show I've missed this year in that way. The first was Dream Theater. Ah well... Such is life.

Alright, I found the shirt I was talking about earlier. I think it looks great with the kilt. The browns in the shirt and hose are different enough that it doesn't look like I tried to match them and I'm color blind. I think I'm leaning toward wearing the oatmeal hose with no garter ties, though. Partly because due to some weird coincidence the hose perfectly match my shoes. Thoughts? Opinions?

EDIT: Yes, I'm aware that my sporran is slightly off-center and that my shoes are untied. I was trying to put the pictures together in a hurry and wasn't really concerned about these things. And no, the cat won't be part of my outfit. He just decided he wanted to be in one of the pictures.

Holy smokes! Someone else besides me remembers Savatage! How old are you anyway?
