Cased badger, otter, muskrat, beaver, raccoon, and bobcat pelts would be of particular value if you have the desire to start making sporrans. I would think with a little practice and a heavy duty sewing machine, one would be able to get the hang of it. The construction of the sporrans I own is pretty simple, but one needs the appropriate tools if going for a professional look. Hmmm. I know one of my brother-in-laws does quite a bit of vermin trapping so I might be able to talk him out of some pelts instead of wasting them. I don't approve of killing just for the furs but he does it to help the farmers in his area.
