I am not at all sure that you have convinced many people about your "legitimate" kilt lift. I have been known to be wrong, of course, but not I think, in this sad, sad case!

Not convinced? The poll currently stands at 3 for and 36 against. I think you'll agree that this is almost dead even and just too close to call.

It might be considered legitimate since the lift was done by his mother-----------MOTHER NATURE!

Sorry Grant, count it as a cool breeze in your bloomers but not as a legitimate kilt lift.

    The 4th yes here.

It's otherwise called a "Marilyn Monroe." Though I highly doubt Grant's moment was as monumentally iconic--but I could be wrong.

I think the hidden who voted for what was to protect those who voted for the legitimate kilt check from ceaseless harassment from the majority... lol bending over in front of a fan does not count... lifting your own kilt in mixed company does not count.. standing over a vent does not count.... dogs sniffing your privates and then peeing... does not count.... baiting the blind to lift the kilt... does not count.... if it is that important to get kilt checked.... volunteer at a senior citizen center in your kilt... will probably get you results... but not something to brag about....lol

Disclaimer.... this post was done with tongue firmly in cheek! LOL

Oh Grant, it must be cold up north as your brain is frozen on the concept that standing on your head in a kilt = KILT CHECK!

:butt: and this does not count as kilt check either!

Sorry, Grant, a proper "kilt check" is usually performed by a human of the opposite gender.

Are we perchance being too hard on him? I just re-read his original post. He said "kilt lift". Just the new guy's ignorance here, but is a "kilt lift" the same thing as a "kilt check"? If it is, he's still on shaky ground, imho. If they are indeed different phenomena, he could be (grudgingly) technically correct.

Now you're speaking the lingo! And to those who scoff at the difference between "lift" and "check", have another look at his avatar.

    Kilt on!
