    I have always thought that life is a bit sweeter and there is far more enjoyment if I've had to struggle to achieve something. It is good that the day worked out well in the end.

    Billmcc, that is a tough question to answer. It is the heaviest kilt I own, but I don't think it is 16oz. I bought it second hand a few years ago after I saw somebody with the Millenium tartan and really liked it. Let me see if I can find the old emails from when I was chatting with the seller.

    You are correct. According to the Lochcarron website, that tartan is only made in 13 oz. The kilt hangs very nicely so I wondered if it was 16 oz.
