Thanks for the comments on my study. I was quite surprised when Vernier sent me a note last week telling me that they were 'publishing' it in their newsletter. I received a very generous gift certificate from them as well. 
Yeah, I went back and forth on the boxer thing, and couldn't see any alternative aside from sticking them to my skin with duct tape.
