I'm glad the kilt went over well with the family. Often family can be the most judgmental of all, and not shy in expressing their thoughts.
I wore my kilt to dinner at a friend's house on Christmas, and she LOVED it. She thanked me several times for wearing it, so vehemently that my wife got several good chuckles out of it.
