Here is what I do lnow:
Aprons are reversed from kilt aprons.

Pleats are generally "twice as wide" as in a kilt. (Theoretically speaking...since there is no "set" width to a kilt pleat).

Half as many pleats as in a kilt, (here again, theoretical)

I get all that. What I would like to know is what manner of interior construction is involved. Already asked Barb T. This is for my wife for her birthday in May.

assuming you're working with a good fabric, and doing most of it by hand, I do the interior the same way as a kilt, maybe with a lighter weight canvas.
