True. But what really gets my kilt hose in a twist are those who figure that somehow they are in a position to dispense unsolicited fashion advice to others when they are themselves as common as the rest of us, with the exception that podcasting or blogging made them famous. Then all of a sudden everyone listens to them and through the magical powers of fame, they have credibility.
Unlike young Jesse, numerous major fashion design heavyweights like Jean Paul Gaultier and Vivienne Westwood have been big into kilts for years! And if you look at their designs, it's clear that they are neither meant for Scottish weddings, or Highland Games. They probably WOULD cheeze off Thorn's Irish mother though... (Let me just add that Gaultier was putting unbifurcated mens' garments on fashion catwalks when Jesse was still a wee lad in his single digits).
