Officially Jonesing
The Jonesing has officially begun.
Upon logging in a few minutes ago, the PM from lethearen popped up.
What a great way to start my day on the Xmarks board !!!
In the spirit of my Ulster lineage and kilt tartan
"Go raibh maith agat" - simply.... "Thank you"
I sent my PM reply and forgot to mention one thing. If/when the time comes that I no longer have a use for this wonderful gift, I will most definitely pass it on. So no worries there. In keeping with the spirit you intended, it will go to a member of the UnKilted Rabble.
I will work on finishing a sporran before the kilts arrival and post pictures ASAP.

Wow, After reading this I don't know what to say! MrShoe, may you never take your good fortune for granted. And letheren, may your good deed return to you ten fold. THIS is why I'm proud to part of this community. Thank you for making my day better and restoring my faith in the good and selfless deeds of others.

Jones is over !!
lethearen,
This is awesome. I can't even put it into words. It fits perfect on my hips, but as we discussed will require a belt on the waist. The belt is requires just to keep the apron edge down, but I could just add some extra Velcro to solve that problem.
The hose fit!!!!!! Yeah!!
Not the best head covering, but I thought it better than hat head or the baseball hat I had on all day. That was the beat solid tie I had, I think I will be on the lookout for a solid red. I was going to press the shirt but was getting impatient, as you can see by the wet spots on the vest from the iron.
I didn't get the sporran finished it will look pretty much like this. I will most likely change the buckle. The strap is not attached yet, but was able to rig it enough for my daughter to snap the pic's

Looks great! Now just click on over to Celtic Croft or Stillwater and they'll set you up with a good, afordable spooran and belt and yer all set.
I'm up for a wee heavy anytime!
Looks like you got that kilt you were looking for in time for St. Patrick's day.
Fellas, isn't it GREAT to klit forward?!
