...as long as you don't find it stuck in your back, it's a good day...

I think that Machievelli said that...

I've been thinking about places in which I lost and sometimes much later found sgian sized and shaped objects, and what I've come up with is: along the edge of the driver's side car seat, between the seat and the transmission hump (Fisher Space Pen, missing for about 5 years until I was cleaning out the car to sell it), and under the edge of the bedspread in a corner, which bedspread I had repeatedly flipped back along two edges without disturbing the corner to reveal the lost item, or perhaps even thereby concealing it further (this has happened an embarrasing number of times, twice with knives and once for an eternity with a missing wallet). Continued wishes for a happy recovery!

    Not implying anything

This little story of a lost knife has nothing to do with your sgian:

A man pulls out a pretty pocketknife to clean his nails. His buddy notices immediately.

Buddy: That's a good looking knife.

    Man: Thanks, I found it.

Buddy: That's funny, I lost a knife that looked like that one. Where did you find it?

Man: On my wife's bedside table...
