Wistful Sad Songs

Anyone have any songs which make you sad or a little tearful or you can imagine as a video or short film ?

One that has had me a little like this over the years is an old Jethro Tull song:-

I am a fan of Jethro Tull, and Ian Anderson.

I came very close to quoting from Bungle in the Jungle over in that Victorian crest/ heraldry thread a few minuts ago.

That's what's stuck in my head right now.

ve only seen them once unfortuantely, during their 1978 Bursting Out tour in Edinburgh's Usher Hall.

I love songs (esp live) like Sweet Dream, Aqualung, Locomotive Breath, Minstrel in the Gallery, Song For Jeffrey, New Day Yesterday, Hunt By Numbers. Heck - all of it really !!

Although it's already used in the film Gangs of New York as the Irish step off the boats and are immediately given a gun and put on another boat.

For sad, wistful songs that you could make into a video or short film? My head went right to Harry Chapin - songs like Better Place to Be, Cat's in the Cradle, W*O*L*D, Taxi . . . they all tell a poignant story or situation.
