The only real glaring error I've seen so far was in episode 2 of the MacLeods, where Murton claims that the Battle of Coire Na Creiche (1601) was the last clan battle in the whole of Scotland.
Actually the distinction of last clan vs clan battle (not counting lesser known or long forgotten wee skirmishes) would be the Battle of Maol Ruadh (Mulroy, Maoile Ruaidh) which was fought in August 1688 in the Lochaber district of Scotland between the Chattan Confederation led by the Clan Mackintosh against the Clan Macdonell of Keppoch and the Clan Cameron.
The Macdonell's won that battle
