    They do have a few things available: pin with VFW emblem, stick pins, ladies pins.

    Some post/clip-on earrings might be adaptable. However, I think I'd still want to be wearing a paper one on the appropriate days.

    In fact, I think I'd better, or my grandmother (member of both auxiliaries) might just return! She was the definitive poppy saleswoman: the downtown businessmen simply reached for their money when they saw her approaching with that gleam in her eye.

    It's funny how grandmother's can get away with that sort of thing. My maternal grandmother wrangled wheels onto B-17s during the war (while her fiancee was off at Kassarine Pass through Anzio). Nobody messed with her.

    It is not customary for us to wear poppies except in November, but recently the British Legion has begun marketing some quite discrete little pins that may be something for you to consider. Both are available online through the Legion's shop.
