    Thanks.

No. The kilt pin was made for me a couple years ago, by a good friend - it's a silver replica of a 16 century fibulae (clasp). I finally have something to wear it on. I'm making the next kilt up for him.

Darn fine job and a Darn nice BIG sporran. Love those sporrans that you could carry a couple of days provisions in. Congrats on some nice work.

I wish I had the ability to make kilts. I'd have more than Hamish by now. That one is a beaut and I love the Black Watch tartan. I like the sporran too. Any chance of a peek inside and how does it close? Thanks for sharing them with us all.

Thank you. I'm considering a lining (maybe overkill on such a casual sporran) and drawstring closure on the pouch - as well as a button (antler)/loop (braid) flap closure.

As pictured here is the first go at it and I'll probably rip it apart partially and start over now that I have the proper glue/edge kote/lacing tools, etc.(thanks Tandy!) And put on a grow-grain trim around the pouch edge.... will post pix, when it's finished, finished.
