I was at an event today and wearing my Gordon. I had at least 3 people come up to me and thank me for wearing a kilt. Ok when I am in uniform I am use to people coming up and thanking me for my service but I'm not sure how to take it when I'm thanked for wearing a kilt.

On my last cruise, I wore the kilt and black tie on "Formal Night". Several people thanked me for wearing the kilt. (One gentleman said "Wish I had brought mine!") I take it as a compliment.
