    Addicted to the kilt

So, it has been a busy last few weeks kilting, with highland games, kilt nights and a few celebratory occasions. One gets used to wearing the kilt on a regular basis and starts to plan for future kilt events. Its strange in Scotland because we do not get very good weather but the past few weeks have been fairly good and it does seem to feel that wearing the kilt in fairer weather gives you a feel good factor, you really enjoy having a kilt around your waist, much better feeling than a pair of trousers.
Is there such a thing as a kilt withdrawal syndrome? I think there is and I may be a sufferer.
So there is only one cure and thats to feed the addiction even more.

Is there such a thing as a kilt withdrawal syndrome?
    Definitely.
Until January 2003 I only ever wore my kilt as costume for special occasions then a leg injury put me on crutches for a few weeks which forced me to wear a kilt to work.
Well the kilt was so well received by colleagues and customers and was so much more comfortable than trousers that ever since then I have chosen to wear a kilt as everyday wear almost daily.
Go on, feed the addiction, you know it doesn't cause any harmful long term effects.

It is definitely an addiction. I'm kilted for the entire summer break. When classes start up again in the fall I have to wear pants on Mon-Wed. BUT can wear the kilt on Thurs. and Fri. I go through some form of withdrawal Sun. night going into Mon. but I know Thurs is coming up fast.

Addiction for sure. I'm always looking for an excuse...pants are high maintenance and restrictive. A kilt is like walking around in a towel, but more socially acceptable and less likely to fall off.

Also, chicks dig kilts even more than they dig togas. I know this for a fact, from recent experience. Just something to keep in mind if you're going to a costume party or formal night or something.
