    "For services, I wear a full length white surplice with full sleeves, preaching tabs and a black tippet. I have done an 18th cent. communion where they also wore white gloves for most of the service. I use Book of Common Prayer Morning & Evening Prayer from the English BCP with the "S's" changed to "F,s" Nothing like a mifferable finner."

    The 2nd Bn of the 84th RoF RHE's (Grenadiers) on board the sailing ship Hector, at Pictou, Nova Scotia.

    Historically, elements of the 84th stationed in Nova Scotia did in fact serve aboard ships as "marines".
