But they're Ninjas.
Anyway, you guys have my vote!

They are indeed ninjas, but we did at least add some Scottish flavor to the samurai sword with the Celtic knot work and thistle on the hilt.
Thanks for the votes and great feedback!

Installed the Ninjas as monitor background here at work- it tiles up quite beautifully. The eyerolling seen after people peer in to look at it tells me it's another successful experiment in excessive Scottishness. Or the fact that I'm in my 50s and have ninjas.

That sounds like the most brilliant monitor background ever created. You are clearly a man of great taste.
On a different note, any X Marks The Scot members in the Seattle area? If so, the Seattle branch of ASIFA (aka-The International Animated Film Association) will be having a screening of the Scottish Ninjas pilot followed by a Q'nA session with the creators. It's taking place on Wednesday July 14th at the St. Andrews Pub. The fun starts around 7pm and is free. So any X Marks The Scot members in the Seattle area, feel free to come down and join us for some fun! We'll be wearing our kilts, we hope to see others there doing the same.

I really like the animation style! If you don't mind my asking what software do you use?

Drunken Master,
It is definitly looking a lot better than half the stuff on Adult Swim so you appear to be on the right track.

That's one of my favorites too. People also seem to really like the Evil Ninja one as well.
We also have some big news to share! We are pleased to announce that the Scottish Ninjas pilot episode, “A Very Scottish Pilot”, is among the official selections for the 2010 Independent Television Festival in LA!
ITVFest, is the premier festival in the world for independently produced television pilots and webseries. It is the festival where up and coming talent in television and new media can show their wares directly to a live audience and meet with industry professionals.
The festival takes place from July 30th – August 5th at LA’s Laemmle Sunset 5 theatre. Our cartoon will be screened on Aug 3rd along with a block of 3 other animated pilots starting at 6:30pm. If you happen to live in the LA area and would like to join us at our LA screening, you can get passes HERE. These passes let you see all 4 animated pilots, not just ours...which adds up to approx 2 hours of entertaining toons.
We hope to see some X Marks The Spot members at the screening! Please stop by and say hi. The more kilts the better!

OMFG! THIS EFFIN' ROCKS! This is testiment to the greatness of America. In any other country, you would be locked up for this cultural mosh, poop, whatever...a Five Haggis rating. Cheers...
"Before two notes of the theme were played, Colin knew it was Patrick Mor MacCrimmon's 'Lament for the Children'...Sad seven times--ah, Patrick MacCrimmon of the seven dead sons....'It's a hard tune, that', said old Angus. Hard on the piper; hard on them all; hard on the world." Butcher's Broom, by Neil Gunn, 1994 Walker & Co, NY, p. 397-8.
