Skerryvore 'the kilted boy band of Gaelic Rock'
So it was an extended kilted weekend with a wedding on Saturday and the Lomond Folk Festival in Balloch on the shores of Loch Lomond on Sunday
Top of the bill at last night's finale were Skerryvore, six piece band with guitars, drums, accordions and bagpipes and most of the group kilted.
Fairly young band, average age must be mid-twenties but music for all ages. If you happen to see them advertised locally, I would make an effort to see them.
Their final 2 numbers were Loch Lomond and Flower of Scotland, bringing the house or tent down - brilliant
So its back to work and normal wear after 2 days wearing whats best - the kilt
