Congrats Diles!
Dusting off the white sage might be a fun idea for your wedding. We smudged everyone before the entered our home, and then we had a cauldron with burning sweet grass out in the courtyard during the ceremony. Here is a photo of the smudging outside the front door. I have had numerous American Indians tell me that they consider the Scots to be kindred spirits, (of course you may just as easily find numerous Native Americans who say "Huh, what do you mean, kindred spirits"?

Here is a photo of Caleb, our 16 year old fire tender, holding the sweet grass prior to cutting it up into small pieces and sprinkling it on the cedar coals.
