Jedburgh is located about two miles from the mouth of the Jed Water where it flows into the River Teviot. You could also consider Teviotdale district tartan from Lochcarron.

I really like both of the Oliver tartans however I can't find anyone who has it in stock, and can't afford a special weaving right now. I was hoping to find a link to a more accessible tartan. I am not going to order a tank as my first kilt but when I do it will probably be in Oliver dress red

Thank you for that tip it is a nice looking tartan as well. Do you know if anyone keeps it in stock?

Doesn't really do it for me - too indistinct for my taste. What about the Roxburgh? Available ex-stock and the Red Roxburgh dates to at least c1840.
