If wearing a kilt was a prerequisite for joining here, I would be languishing in the dark, because I have not worn one since I left the army in 1977.
But I look forward to owning one in the near future.
I am glad to know that you find the kilt such a masculine garment, though, and I hope to hear that your husband has been persuaded to adopt it as well.
As for you, ladies may wear kilts (without sporrans, please, unless they are band members), but they look much better in skirts (long or short). I particularly like long skirts, especially if they are made of tartan.
Unfortunately my wife has not worn a skirt in years – in fact, a good many women whose pictures appear here are shown in slacks next to their kilted men!
