    I am so happy to hear that Hamish is doing well! The home sounds like the perfect place to recover - sea, gardens, good food - fantastic! It's great to hear that Hamish is back in a kilt; that's a good sign. Thanks, Jim, for all your updates to us.

    Oh, my goodness! I've been traveling so much lately that I completely missed this thread until tonight! If I'd seen it earlier, I would have wished you all the best with the surgery, Hamish, but it sounds as if you've come through it with flying colors.
