For the record, I like the straps that Steve makes at Oconee Leatherworks. It has a small clip that works in a manner similar to the chain straps but won't rub all the wool off your kilt. You can see his stuff here: http://oconeeleatherworks.com/Belts.htm
The clips keep you from having to slide your belt around to the back after you buckled it, assuming that you do slide it around instead of leaving it in the front like Riverkilt. Steve makes first quality products at a reasonable price.
