That is just astonishing. Incredible, beautiful work. And it really does seem to capture him in a "Oh bloody #*&%!!!" moment of decision.

This piece should be in some art gallery or museum somewhere. Yes, it's that well done.

My dad used to paint military miniatures. He did a lot of Scots and Vikings- they were his favorites. And then his Muse left him, as he says. Anyways, it always amazed me to see him pain tartan! That piece is something I know he would have gone nuts for ten years ago! Is it being cast in lead or resin? I couldn't find anything on the site- or I missed it, which is also entirely likely... Either way, it's beautiful. It's great to actually read a post and some information from the sculpter- I'm used to seeing things from the perspective of the end user.

Add me to the ranks of the impressed. While you say you are "only the sculptor", that's like saying you were "only" the engineer that designed the space shuttle. Sure, others had a hand in the finished product, but your work is the basis for others work.

Yet another thing I can only admire from afar. I severely lack the imagination and artistic ability for anything beyond stick figures.
