Alpen Highland Games

I was not able to get away this weekend, but if you are able to come, the Highland Games in Machern, Germany are on 18 and 19 September. They are very nice with lots of bands and highland games. I'm sure you would enjoy it.

Machern is about 12 km east of the German City of Leipzig.

I plan on driving up from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, on Friday and staying over to Sunday morning.

If you google Highland Games, Machern, you should be able to see the program and some pictures from previous years.
