Very nice!
I see the Pasadena Scots there to the right, standing At Ease. Their Drum Major, Dave Melton, is leading the band with the red kilts.
The pipes in the foreground are very interesting. I noticed them in the hands of that guy, in The Irish Pipers of San Francisco Pipe Band, last weekend up at Pleasanton. They looked to be old Lawries. The distinctive thing is that though they have real ivory projecting mounts the bushes in the drone tops appear to be catalin, an old sort of imitation ivory which turned orange with age. One sometimes sees old Lawries which are fully mounted in catalin yet have real ivory bushes, and this set is oddly the reverse.
Since I myself recently aquired 100-year-old Lawries, when I noticed this guy's pipes up at Pleasanton I approached him and asked him what sort of pipes they were.
"Scottish pipes!" he said, "Like everybody else's!".
Hmmm.... so I said, "I was wondering what maker. They look like old Lawries."
"Lawries!" and he walked away. Oh well...

thanks for the fill in
I don't know much about pipes except I love to hear them. I was just shooting and didn't take names or groups.
Composition wise I did think haveing the pipe major in the same kilt as the left side group as opposed to the color of the group he was leading added visual interest. thanks
