Fantastic !
Alan,
As I told you yesterday, you are absolutely dashing and the photos are perfect.
Thank you for posting these and your wonderful comments.
Lady Chrystel is very happy you are enjoying your new kilt, knife pleated to the sett.
Best,

That's what I was thinking as well. I hadn't seen that tartan before, and I really like the color scheme of it. The construction of the kilt looks like top quality.
Looking good, Alan! You wear it well.

I cannot recommend M'Lady's handwork strongly enough. This is a FIRST CLASS job. The communication process with the Lady and with Ancienne Alliance was great. Shipping was smooth. Lady Chrystel was flexible with allowing me to pay her in several installments. I had to wait a while of course, but the wait was in no way excessive. The whole experience was a pleasant one, and I highly recommend Lady Chrystel as a complete joy to work with.
About the colors...I really love earth tone kilts. Way2Fractious has an ancient, hunting MacLaren that I absolutely love. WalkerK has an ancient Johnston which is equally wonderful. But there is no such thing available in the MacNaughton or Hall tartans.
Aside from the whole issue of habitat conservation, which I'm very keen on, I really wanted a kilt in those sorts of earth tones. This fills the bill very nicely.

Congratulations to you for the new acquisition. What a beautiful tartan! And, there is no substitute for fine craftsmanship such as this. Well done all around.
