What do you think of that reasoning? Agree? Disagree?
I think this is the only reason my wife has allowed me to spend the vast amount of moolah on kilts as she has. I spent about 200 USD on my first kilt, and she saw how much I loved them. It's absolutely correct, in my opinion(!), that if one is to spend MORE money on it, the less likely they are to just toss it in the closet and never wear it again.
Now, as for the OP's point: I think it's the best place to start out, personally. SWK standards are the best (for the dollar) IMHO. I have an economy, and the difference in quality is definitely noticeable.
Again, IMHO, if one were to buy one to see if they like it, I agree with Sushi. Spend a little more than you'd originally planned on, and it'll stick with you for quite a while!
