Whether I can be there will depend on if we are going to the Austin Celtic Festival Sunday.

Looking at their website, I see no mention of a Darts (the kind you throw, not ride in). How can they be a pub with no dart tournament schedule?

Ha! I've always been too busy drinking to really take notice... but now that you mention it, yeah, there isn't a dart board in the pub! Weird!

John Campbell, Distillery Manager for Laphroaig will be coming to Dallas for the week, and besides a visit to our friends at Sigels, and some trade training, the other opportunity to spend time with the man will be here at Trinity Hall Dallas. We'll bring out the Ardmore, and then the full line from Laphroaig, 10, 10 year cask, 1/4 cask, 18 & 25 year old too.
We'll roll out their entire line and the special editions!
Six sample whiskies, light snack appetizers and great conversation! $ 25+tax
Hold My Seat - Dallas Reservation
Even though its a Tuesday, we can combine our get together with a Scotch tasting.
I read this earlier. I will be there (kilted) for this tasting. John's last tasting was truely remarkable. I hope to meet some of you there.

At the Scottish Invasion that was held at Trinity Hall on 7/31, there was no reserved seating (probably because it's difficult to reserve enough room for 75 or so people at the pub). The point is, we had to stand for a couple of hours before a seat came available and my wife has had hip replacement and doesn't do the standing for hours thing very well. She won't go back if there is no reservation. So I'm finally to my question. Is someone making a group reservation?

Christopher and I are hoping to make this. It's on our calendars, but something might come up last minute. We'll see though!
