thank you all for the support... im not too bad off 260 or there abouts and my target weight is around 200-210 mostely just to take inches off my waist size (47) i would like to be back down around 38 to 40 most of it is due to working civil service... we dont much but sit around so ive started walking several miles a night on swing shift around the flightline (one full lap is almost 1 1/2 miles) plus i need to start eating right, with me living by myself and my wife living in another state i dont have anyone to help me regulate what i eat but i have been eating a lot of chicken and rice which is pretty tastey.

Maybe you are already aware of this, but there is a social group/community here on XMarks called the 10% Challenge- Getting Fit so the Kilt will Fit. It might be a good place to find other XMarkers with goals similar to yours.

If you are looking to not only loose some weight but get in great shape as well then do P-90X. I am on my second round of three months of it and it has given me a lot more confidence when wearing the kilt and my health is drastically improved in every way. It takes a real commitment (1.25 hrs a day) but it's worth it if you can squeeze it into your schedule.

i have p90x and it kicked my butt in a bad way lol... im using the beachbody now then when ive done two 90 day rounds of that then i will switch to p90x.
