New to X-Marks but not to Kilts
Hello from Greenville, SC!
I just came across this site, while looking for examples of wearing a kilt for modern/everyday wear. I have done Historical Re-enactments my entire life, and have worn kilts for many of those, now looking at wearing it for causal wear. It has always struck me that my kilts (both great and wee) are a lot more comfortable then jeans.
Well that is me, will try to post a picture soon.

Oh and I forgot to ask, can anyone recommend a good kilt for modern wear? I would prefer something that can be worn with almost anything, and can be easily taken care of.

Welcome from PA! I've only been on the forum for a couple of weeks myself.
I'd say a good place to start looking would be the kilt suppliers on this forum. I just ordered my first semi-traditional kilt from USA Kilts, and they were great to work with. Should have it in a few days, I believe. They and several other suppliers provide casual and semi-trad kilts made from poly viscose, which is remarkably like wool, but easier to care for. The people on X Marks will be happy to answer any questions you have... they are true kilt devotees.
