    Yellow flashes?

I picked up a really nice PV kilt in MacLeod of Harris Ancient from the local Celtic store this past Saturday, and I think yellow flashes would go nicely with this tartan. Maybe with some lovat blue socks?

Anyway, I'm not really sure where to get the yellow flashes. I usually get that sort of a thing from USA Kilts or Stillwater because I'm always in a hurry, and those folks are super fast. But neither one of them have yellow.

Your suggestions would be most welcome.

I have a pair of mustard garter ties that I like quite a bit.

You can get yellow flashes or garters from the STM

Wrong color hose, but here's a pic that shows the traditional garter ties in yellow. They're a true yellow color.

Much more comfy to wear than the elastic flashes.

I have both the garter ties described above plust a couple sets of elastic garter sets in standard and ancient color schemes, the latter of which I got off ebay but which are available at the following site, along with a lot of nice shootingsocks/country hose dressy style fancy top hose in a variety of colors:

    http://www.shootingsocks.co.uk/acata...sories_63.html

The elastic garter sets come with four colors in each set (a red, green yellow and blue, I believe) in standard and ancient shades, along with a single set of garters, onto which the various flash colors can be exchanged. One set of each and I am good for just about any color flash I want, and best of all they are not chevron shaped tartan flashes.

I like that tartan, it's one of 4 clans on Skye I descend from. I like lovat green hose with traditional woven ties in yellow or even lovat blue, all available from the Tartans Museum.

I was unfamiliar with this site...I think it is my new favorite place to drool over hose! An the prices on many of the styles are reasonable too! I see Santa making a trip there this Christmas.
