Close, I'm 6'7" and mine is 28". Too bad I have a bit more, uh-hum, girth. The price is fantastic and I really like the tartan!

I agree, I too am married, but still I wouldn't have spent the money on the wedding and all the trimmings if I didn't think it was going to last....

If one could grab it at the right price it could be made "right". Unfortunately, too small girth for me. Even if I lost a lot of weight, I've not been a 38'' since high school.....

From the pics and his given 6'1" ht. the rise may be closer towards a military one of 4 inches or thereabouts giving approx 22.5"-23" for the drop, which would be about right for the seller's ht.

For example, military kilts for a HT of 188cm (6'2" and +/- an inch or so) measure around 27.5"-28" length. Those of mine labelled for HT of 176cm (I'm 5'9") measure about 25.5"-26", which gives approx 21.5"-22" drop and hits me about 1" or so above the knee below and bottom rib above.. No worries ever of looking like an Oreo with shirt protruding between ones PC & kilt!

If of any interest to anyone, military kilt HT is sized in 6cm increments, so HT 182cm would be in between the two above and measures approx 26.5"-27". The slight difference in length appears to be age related from what I've ascertained, ie those made to older/pre-70's patterns are slightly shorter than those of more recent pattern(s).
