Birthday at Tokyo Disneyland
That is how we spent my birthday (well, the day prior to it, anyway)... The weather was wonderful (for Tokyo) and the Christmas theme at Disneyland was a sight to behold... And it was beheld by a good zillion other visitors too.
Here's a few piccies, and the whole album is on my website (http://zayith.com/photos/Disneyland%202010/).

(Of course I went kilted!)

This is how many people there were.

I wasn't the only one kilted there that day...

How's that for nice weather?

Disneyland pictures... Part 2
Disneyland pictures... Part 2

Even the Polynesian totems were dressed for the occasion.

Me n' the missus.

Just chillin' in the late afternoon.

The crowds persisted well into the evening.... And yes, that is one MASSIVE Christmas tree!

Waiting for my wife at the lost & found... She lost her sweater earlier in the day, and it was recovered with amazing efficiency before we left for our hotel.

Great pics! The Christmas tree in the last picture, is that real? It look almost animated.

Thanks. Yes, it's real enough... With iPhone's "HDR" photo mode, combined with a bit of post-processing in iPhoto to eliminate a little bit of speckle & noise, and that was the result. I agree -- it looks a little surreal, almost animated. But hey -- this is Disney right? It's supposed to be magical.

Happy Birthday and Thanks for sharing those.
I grew up a bicycle ride from Disneyland in California and as you can imagine, know every inch of it. It is interesting that the "Main Street" has a roof over it. Is the weather in Toyoko a problem?

Great photos, and a happy birthday. We're headed down to Walt Disney World in Florida this March. I plan on being kilted at least one day while there.
