St Kilda Quality?

Anyone out there buy a kilt from St Kilda? I haven't heard much about them, either way. What about their quality and general appearance? Are they a reputable firm to deal with, etc.?

I believe that St. Kilda may be a subsidiary of Gaelic Themes. If so there should be no problems in dealing with them.

Their prices are VERY reasonable for a 16 oz 8 yard wool kilkt, but I don't want to wind up with junk. I saw the thread about the kilt from Tartanweb and the photos showed a very poorly made kilt. Their prices are very reasonable as well, but look at what the poor chap received!

Ron, I have dealt with St Kilda on two separate occasions. Their shipping times and customer service were excellent on both occasions.

Yes, St. Kilda is decent stuff. I've three jackest from them and I'm very pleased.

They are, now, part of Gaelic Themes, as MOR has stated!

Two of my jackets came from USA Kilts, by the way.

St. Kilda = Gaelic Themes = Tartan Web = Viking Technology = E-kilts = Nicholson Kilts

Scott (the owner) is a very nice guy. We deal with them for several different products like jackets, hose, kilt pins, etc.

I don't purchase kilts from them, so I can't speak to their kilt quality. Others have and have been pleased. Some have (DenMcD) and been 'less than pleased'... though it looks like Scott is signing up on Xmarks to weigh in on that thread.

I will gladly endorse the GT products that we DO carry as good value (or else USAK wouldn't be carrying them).
