Quite right, I agree! I consider myself a foreigner when I am in Scotland, even though I am Scottish, my family is Scottish - specifically from the Highlands - and am a part of a great Highland clan. I also feel like I'm going home even though I was born American. Over there, I don't have to spell or pronounce my name like I do most of the time in my own born country.
