I wish I believed in reincarnation. Where's Charles Martel when you need him?

I was married in piper hose, and when I approached my friend (the bagpiper for my wedding) for help in folding the top over & getting the flashes correct (my first time wearing all that), she exclaimed, "Those are Piper hose!", then gave a disapproving look. Like, 'you're not suppose to wear those, they're only for pipers', but I told her it's my wedding and I'm wearing them. I'm not saying all pipers think that way, but I suspect while the rather pretty pub wench thought all should be in the white hose, pipers may think all should not...at least not 'their' hose. Kinda puts a twist on the conversation, or perhaps it's me that's twisted.
