Well done Harold. Glad to see that it has all come together for you. I like the elbow patches. They used to be seen on good 'country' clothing here in the UK - always was a sign of quality.
Regards
Chas

Thank You Chas! I converted the jacket myself. I added the patches later. I actually do a lot of DIY for myself.

Lookin' good, sir! I really dig the antler tine sporran.

With this outfit I made the hose, made the sporran and strap, modified the jacket, and the balmoral is a cheap wool Hong Kong tam that I fitted with ribbon and a tourie. I also made the button hole pin and the thumbstick.

Harold, in true Highland style you have used what you had around you to best advantage, you have adapted, you used your imagination and you have come up with a pretty sharp outfit and I wish I was half as clever as you, Well done laddie!

Superb looking outfit Harold and congratulations on the talent to make/alter the those parts that you did. I think the overall look is very traditional (hope that's what you were aiming for ) I echo what Jock said about being resourceful and would like to say that your jacket conversion is one of the smartest I have seen.
