I was at a Tandy store looking for some buckskin for a friend of mine who(desperately) needs some new pants, possibles bags, etc. for mountain man rendvous. No luck in locating his stuff on this trip, but the lady who owns the shop gave me a heads up that goatskins will be on sale mid April. It's the garment and upholstery weight stuff that's going on sale, so I don't know if that helps you out. Didn't think to ask her if that was her sale or a Tandy thing...might check with a couple of them in Denver pretty soon in case they're all doing it.

Also, if you ever need buckskin or buffalo hide Prairie Edge is a good source. Here's a link: http://www.prairieedge.com/ They're surprisingly reasonable on their materials, but finished products are ridiculously priced. The biggest buckskin they stock is only about 24x24 inches, no full hides or half hides, but the price is good. They're cheaper than anyone I've found for materials. You might have to call them, not sure if they sell materials online. I've had them ship materials to me before because they didn't have it when I was in the store. Really easy to deal with them.

BTW, I'm still wanting that flask. Just had some things come up and neglected to let you know. Hope you didn't think I was blowing you off. Unfortunately, a new water heater kinda trumped ordering a flask. Pretty soon though. I'll get back to ya on that.
