    umm, the OTHER other shoulder

    I believe you may be thinking of women's sashes, which may migrate with the wearer's title and position.

    To my knowledge, everybody who wears a fly plaid wears it over his left shoulder. Of course, many X-Markers consider the fly plaid to be the white hose of the upper body.
