Splendid kilt!! Very rich looking indeed. The tartan is one my favorites, and it is always a pleasure to see it worn. A well made kilt, well worn, well done!

I just ordered a kilt from Reid Kilts and I thought the rabble would like to know some interesting details about my customer service. Last year, I ordered two tanks and one 5-yard kilt from Peter Reid before he left that company to form Reid Kilts. I got great personal service from him. When I wanted to order my son his first kilt, I went to Peter's new company's web site. I wanted a 5-yard kilt for wear during the hot summer months in Kentucky. I did not see the availability of 5-yard kilts on the Reid Kilts web site. So, I went back to the store where Peter used to work and asked for a quote. I did not get a reply. I sent another email, but still got no response.
So, I thought I would go ahead and see if Reid Kilts could provide what I wanted even though I didn't see it on the web site. I got a very prompt response from Peter. He was more than happy to provide exactly what I wanted. I had several additional questions and each time, I got a very prompt response. I appreciated the good communication and the good customer service in helping me place my order. I will let the rabble know how the kilt turns out.

Reid Kilts Peter Reid review
I dealt with Peter at the company he used to work for a while ago, and purchased a jacket and waistcoat through him.
I can attest to his fantastic customer service and dedication to going above and beyond. He made himself available to call (through a ten hour time difference, in the middle of his lunch breaks and after hours) whenever I asked for it, his response time to emails was fantastic (and included replies well outside the normal business hours), and he had no problem going out of his way to answer my questions and quash my fears.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the man, and I'm certain that if he has now formed his own company that this can only be a fantastic thing for us kilties. There's always more room in the market for great companies!
For those who understand, no explanation is necessary; for those who don't, none is possible.
