I don't own a plaid of any sort, however I have no real objection to them. To each, his own and my opinion would simply be that--an opinion.
However, this lefty-righty thing is VERY interesting! I'm ambidextrous. Does this mean I can wear TWO plaids and go for that cape look?

Actually, I think it means you should just do what you're doing, since the reason for wearing a plaid on the left shoulder was to leave the dextrous arm unencumbered.
No plaid for you!
