Are our Joplin brothers ok?

I'm here this morning instead of working right now because of this. I was wondering the same thing- glad some one beat me to it. Prayers and thoughts going out indeed!

My mother-in-law lives in Joplin. She called last night to let us know she was okay and her home escaped damage, but a large part of the city was not so lucky. Prayers for all in the area.

The water treatment plant survived... some damage, but i'm led to believe that most of it is superficial...

Bound to be a number of leaks from houses etc causing reduced water pressure...

Prayers on the way for sure! And yes, it has been a crazy year already for these storms! I think on the news they said something like over 800 tornadoes already this year in the continental US? Maybe that's a lot more, I can't remember off hand. Regardless, prayers on their way!!!
