I would just like to point out, that from the inception of this thread, (and after someone actually posted a copy of the news story), I've found this thread nothing short of revolting.
In fact, the only reason why I've come back into this awful thread to say anything at all is to make my sentiments known, as every time I log on I find that someone has bumped this thread back to the top of this list (not that MY comment helps matters any), and each time I see it I am reminded of how gross it is.
It may not be breaking any of the forum's RULES per se, so reporting it won't exactly get it locked but it IS in poor taste and I would kindly request the rabble, as a favour to just let this one die -- the sooner the better. Just because a news medium sees it fit to publish a story in all its disgusting detail doesn't mean it's appropriate for polite discussion either.
On a separate note, I know that it is possible to "block out" annoying users from one's forum browsing experience -- is there not a similar button to block out threads in a similar manner? (Please PM me if there is, for I shan't be returning to this thread anytime soon to check responses)...

Seems to me the tasteless nature of the article would do well in the PUB.
At least fewer replies would raise a stink about it!

Go, have fun, don't work at, make it fun! Kilt them, for they know not, what they wear. Where am I now?

With all apologies to CDNSushi (who won't even see this, oh well) and as childish and gross as it is, I do find it funny in its own sad way.
No way I wanted it banned just because some party pooper is offended by bodily functions. (sorry, couldn't resist)

When is poop NOT funny? (aside from when it's smeared on your new bride's knee, that is...) Yes, yes...I know it's juvenille, sophomoric humor but that's what makes America great!
And, I for one am a big fan of the poop banana.
Nothing says, "I love you" like a sporran full of haggis!!

Scatological humor dates back to the dawn of human history. We've always found such stories disgusting and hilarious at the same time. Getting offended is a bit dramatic, and silly....

I, for one, think it's awesome that poop jokes and poop stories have such an official-sounding title as "scatological humor"!
