    I really like that doublet! The shiny facing under the buttons is a nice detail that I haven't seen before. Is the jacket itself black or dark grey? The light might be playing tricks on my eyes...

    Also, what can you tell us about your tie? I don't recognize that style...

    Some people suggest that a belt not be worn with a waistcoat, but somehow the proportions of your combo is working to my eye. That being said, it might look a little less busy around the middle without it... or you could make it functional by using it for its traditional function: hang a dirk on it
