Hahaha, no worries mate! It's pronounced "CRAIG DOO", which translates from the Scottish Gaelic to "BLACK ROCK", which is part of the Clan Macpherson's war cry of "CREAG DHUBH CLANN CHATAIN", or "THE BLACK ROCK OF CLAN CHATTAN". The black rock is a geographical reference to the dark (almost black in colour) rocky crags of Creag Dhubh, a rather large hill (mountain) that divides upper and lower Badenoch.

Creag Dhubh is located in the hills surrounding the town of Newtonmore, Inverness-shire, Scotland, where our annual gathering and rallies are held each August, where runners will actually run up the face of Creag Dhubh, all the way to the summit and back! I have yet to compete in such an event, but I am quite confident my day will come very soon!

The Clan Macpherson men (I'm located in the center, Macpherson Hunting tartan kilt on, scarlet necktie, navy Balmoral, fawn hose) marching at the annual gathering with Creag Dhubh (center peak, slightly right) rising in the background - they say the sun always shines on the Macphersons! Very true that day!

P.S. - Can anyone pick out the two MacMillan lads who have always marched with us (they are Macphersons as well)? David, Scott, anyone?

    Slainte,

Kyle, we are indeed at the Batesville games. I dont know if I will be able to attend the AGM but I hope to. When will I ever have a better chance to meet Chief Cluny? My wife and I helped at the tent this year, had a great time. I am John Pearson, btw. Proud to be a member of Clan Macpherson. Hope to meet you all some day. CREAG DHUBH!
