CMcG they were photos of the green and charcoal jackets that have appeared on threads on the forum, I gave the tailor a two good front views and a side view to explain the side vents rather than the usual central vent of a buisiness suit jacket
As for the Alt.Kilt I have had it for about 2 months. I bought it for weraring in Bali but got it early to give time for repeated wasing in order to soften it up a bit. Many of the locals liked it better than the traditional kilt and I am sure that if I had left it with one of the local tailors for a couple of days they would have replicated it with no problem at all. I found the Alt.Kilt a very good option for the heat and getting around and a couple of times it got sate sauce or soup on it. I tossed it in the bath with some soap powder, gave it a good going over, a rinse, hung in outside pulling the pleats into position when wet and it was dry and wearable in several hours.
Shoot straight you bastards. Don't make a mess of it. Harry (Breaker) Harbord Morant - Bushveldt Carbineers
