I haven't really been online for the last few days, but you already knew that she was getting my regular prayers.

Glad to hear how things have turned out.

You're both still on the list, Dread. Hang in there.

Excellent news about the surgery and will continue to pray for a good recovery.

Dread you have been there to love your wife throughout this - that's all you needed to do, so no need to feel you have let her down in any way at all.

Ann and I never had any children from our marriage - being together as a couple of loving companions is something money can't buy and children aren't the be all and end all some people would like to make out - a marriage can be very complete without children.

And I could do nothing as I watched her change from those experiences. These were monsters that I could not defend her from, shadows I could not pound in to submission with my big hammy hands. Even though I know I haven't, I can not help but feel that I have let her down somehow, even though I know in my heart that there was nothing I could do stop what happened.
She didn't have to face her troubles alone. Whatever you think your failings might be, you were there when she needed you most. My guess is that she'll love you all the more for that.

You've every right to be angry. You don't deserve the kick in the teeth life's dealt you and your family. Together, you've got the strenght to handle it.

There's a lot of healing to be done. Hang in there.

She is at home and recovering.

She is a bit rough at the moment, but happy over all, and pestering me if there is going to be some way to see Pirates of the Caribbean.

Ye cannae blame the gal, after what she has been through she could use some entertainment.

At World's End is better than Dead Man's Chest but not as good as The Curse of the Black Pearl, but it is a wonderful piece of summer entertainment. Keith Richard's cameo was also a bit of fun.

Make sure you sit through all the end credits, there is a short scene afterwords.

Glad to hear Jadewink is doing so well, I had me ax all ready in case I needed to knock a few heads if you know what I mean
